Almac Ltd - Test Facility

Almac have a small testing facility in Leeds with a selection of our smaller Vecoplan shredders available to process a range of materials.

We use air, mechanical transfer or simple gravity clearance according to the material and a magnetic separator can also be demonstrated.

To date we have processed a wide range of wood waste along with paper, books, documents, wallpaper rolls and packaging. Plastics in the form of plumbing products, PVB, HDPE, LDPE, window frames and door frames with mild steel core and aluminium core. Textiles and footwear, acoustics panels from submarines and aircraft as well as car components and clinical residue.

Large trials are carried out by arrangement with the main Vecoplan test facility in Bad Marienberg near to Cologne and Frankfurt.
